Instruction usage:

• Place your diya on a stable, fire-resistant surface. A traditional diya stand, plate, or coaster is ideal, but any heat-resistant surface will do.
• Trim the wick to an appropriate length, leaving a small portion (around 1/4 inch) exposed above the surface of the wax.
• Use a long-reach lighter or matchstick to ignite the wick.

Caution

• Keep the diya away from flammable materials, curtains, paper, and any other combustibles.
• Ensure there are no overhanging objects or decorations above the diya that could catch fire.
• Ensure the diya is positioned on a level surface to prevent it from tipping over.
• Never leave a burning diya unattended. Always extinguish it when you are leaving the area.
• Keep the diya out of the reach of children and pets, as they may accidentally knock it over or get too close to the flame.
• Be mindful that terracotta can become hot when the diya is in use. Handle it with care and avoid touching it directly during or immediately after use.
• When extinguishing the diya, use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Do not attempt to extinguish the candle by pouring water on it.
